Corbett Jeep Safari

CORBETT JEEP SAFARI

If you are planning to enjoy your visit to Jim Corbett National Park, safaris are one of the most popular ways to explore the area. Available in three different forms, these safaris are very popular among visitors from different parts of India and abroad, as they offer a close view of the forest landscape and wildlife habitat. Among these safaris, people are fond of jeep safari the most, as it allows visitors to move through designated forest areas.

Jeep safaris in Jim Corbett National Park are managed by the Forest Department. Our team at Corbett Tour Travel assists guests in completing the required formalities and submitting booking requests as per the official process. We find out the right facilities that are available with these safaris. Usually, the Jeep Safari starts from Ramnagar and allows the visitors to get a Gypsy on rent with a skilled driver and a knowledgeable guide.

While confirming the safari, the officials at the Forest Department make sure that they allow only a limited number of jeeps inside the zones. These safaris generally run for around 3–4 hours in the morning and in the evening. The officials allow 6 passengers in one trip. Among these 6 passengers, the officials allow 4 adults and 2 kids in one gypsy. The jeep safari is available in multiple zones, namely Bijrani, Garjiya, Jhirna, Dhela, Durgadevi and Sitabani. Many visitors say that travelling through the forest areas feels memorable and unique, as it allows them to observe nature from a closer perspective.

Corbett National Park offers organised jungle safari experiences. Visitors can choose nature-focused safaris for bird watching and enjoying the forest landscape. You can also book a jeep safari through the jungles of Corbett and, if lucky, may spot wildlife such as deer, elephants or even tigers, although no wildlife sighting is ever guaranteed. Visitors who are interested in a different experience may also consider an elephant safari, where available as per current park rules and guidelines.

Jeep safari permits for Indian visitors are generally released around 45 days before the travel date, while foreign nationals may apply earlier as per the official rules. Booking requests for jeep safaris in zones such as Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhikala, Dhela, Durgadevi and Corbett Landscape are processed through the forest department system, and our team helps guests with submitting details and planning their visit.
